Three engines are available on the 2025 Tahoe. The standard 5.3-liter V8 produces 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. A larger 6.2-liter V8 with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet is offered on the RST, Z71, and High Country trims for more power. Topping the range is a 3.0-liter Duramax turbodiesel rated at 305 horsepower and a stout 495 pound-feet of torque for excellent efficiency and towing performance. Each engine pairs with a smooth-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and four-wheel drive with a two-speed transfer case is available across the lineup.

Interior and Exterior Features

The Chevy Tahoe has a roomy cabin with up to eight passengers, depending on configuration. Behind the third row, 25.5 cubic feet of cargo space expands to 72.6 cubic feet with the rear seats folded.
